Along with seed trays you can populate the tray’s internal base with small pots, grow media, cubes, blocks, gravel, and capillary matting. These are but a few growing arrangements possible with the Jumbo.

Because you’re growing on what is effectively a single, large ‘irrigation table’ it’s much easier to control water and nutrient inputs. With plants concentrated in one area it’s also much easier to reduce climatic inputs such as lights and heaters, potentially cutting your overheads.

The shallow ridges that run lengthways along the internal base of the tray help facilitate some drainage. If you wish to drain out of the tray then the base can easily be drilled to allow for this.
