Anyone can control their grow light schedule with the Lumii Black 4 Way Contactor Timer. This handy, affordable, reliable bit of kit allows you to set your lights to come on and go off automatically with minimal setup required.
As it relies on a mechanical timer the Lumii Black 4 Way Contactor is the definition of ‘easy-to-use’. Simply push the in the pins on the timer to set your preferred ‘ON’ times, set to ‘Timer’ mode, and plug in your ballasts. That’s it. Well, that’s all you have to do.
Because, despite it’s straightforward operation, this device is doing some clever and essential work behind the scenes. It ensures that your plants not only get lit on time, but that they get lit safely – a crucial feature for any electrical appliance that is left unattended. Thanks to the relay switch within the Lumii Black 4 Way Contactor Timer your HID lights come on in a safe pattern. Used correctly the device radically reduces the chance of overloads.
The trailing ‘Power Bar’ into which you plug your ballasts provides light weight, flexible connection points. The bar of 4 sockets is capable of taking up to 13 Amps. For maximum efficiency Lumii recommend a maximum of:
- 3 x 600 W per 4-socket power bar
- 4 x 400 W per 4-socket power bar
- 4 x 315 W per 4-socket power bar
