The Hobby 150 x 600 is part of Rhino’s range of entry level carbon filters which, whilst highly effective and affordable, make no concessions in terms of construction or composition. A nicely engineered aluminium housing provides a light, well-sealed home for a 30mm bed of top-of-the-line Australian RC412 carbon. The filter easily and securely fits to a 6” L1 extractor fan with a maximum capacity of 600 cubic metres of air per hour. 

Ingenious use of carbon allows the Hobby to deliver maximum filtration from a surprisingly compact unit. The activated RC412 has a porous, microscopically textured surface that immeasurably increases its absorptive area. The irregularity of these pores and textures ensures particles of all shapes and sizes are caught. As well as providing superb filtration this extra surface area on the carbon allows the filter to be small, easy to fit, and simple to maintain.

Maintenance involves the cleaning of the pre-filter and simple reversal of the duct-coupler and base every 8-12 weeks. The Hobby is designed with these tasks in mind, allowing you to quickly and easily optimise performance and extract the maximum lifespan from the filter.
